First assignment:
The case study will be posted onto Canvas in the first four weeks of the trimester: hand in is in week 15 (second week in December). The case study will cover all the subjects covered to date in the module, and the weighting is 30% of the overall module mark.
This assessment assesses the following learning outcomes:
- Critically analyse relevant financial data and recommend appropriate solutions to fiscal or financial problems
- Select and interpret financial and fiscal data as the basis for personal financial planning
- Develop problem-solving skills and provide outline solutions to potential financial problems
- Create, understand and manage budgets
Second assignment:
This is due in the second week of April - second trimester). It is a learning journal covering your learning over the whole of the two trimesters. Details of how to write your learning journal are already on the Canvas site. It is important you start the process early, and the tutorial preparation sheets will form the basis for your learning journal. This element is 20% of the overall module mark.
