- The assignment should be done on the lesson plan which is attached. The project should be based on papers of such authors as R. Ellis, Swan,M. Long, R. Hawkins, Krashen and Schmidt.
- This project is for the course of Second Language Acquisition in Teaching English to speakers of other languages.
- Design and write a detailed 90 min EFL lesson plan with materials to teach an intermediate level multicultural group of adult learners. Use your knowledge of SLA research and its influence on the design of language teaching materials and tasks to create your lesson plan. You must make explicit reference to SLA where possible to explain the rationale behind the stages you plan. You can choose what you consider the most appropriate language teaching approach to match your teaching objective(s). You will probably have to consider factors such as the SLA model/position you would like to adopt for language pedagogy, the type of students you have and the factors affecting their L2 learning/language processing.
- Students are expected to collect and analyze some research data and write up their results. They are required to provide a brief literature review of relevant research in their topic area
